Trading Applications Freezing or crashing
If your trading application is freezing or sluggish you could very well have a corrupted workspace or profile in your trading application. This is a simple thing to resolve or rule out. Corrupted workspaces happen quite often in trading software.
- Open the workspace/profile that you are using when the freezing occurs.
- Save AS and give it a new name.
- Close your trading application and reboot
- Reopen your trading application.
Issues with Trading Software Not Hardware
Problems like this often ‘appear’ to be a computer problem when in fact they are not. To rule it out, close your trading application and see if you still have a problem. Open any other program except your trading application or utilities used by your trading application.
Usually you will find that everything works fine until your trading application is opened. This means that if you only have an issue when the trading application is open, it is NOT the computer it is your application. Contact your trading sofware vendor such as Ninja Trader, Schwab etc.
