Compare Horizontal vs Vertical Screens
Using 2 rows of 3 in a 6 display setup, you would have 3 horizontal screens on top and 3 on the bottom so 2 separate rows. This may be too much neck strain for some looking up at the top row, but this is a matter of personal preference. Six vertical screens are a nice balance of height without the neck strain.
Stock Traders
Many traders see the advantage of using Vertical monitors when trading. Vertical screens will allow you to view 4 indicators or more on each screen very nicely. The larger the screen, the better as you cannot trade what you cannot see. For best results use monitors 27″ or larger for trading.
Vertical Screens for Professionals
If you are a professional vertical screens are great for browsing the internet or reading long documents. You will not believe how much more efficient vertical monitors are since there is much less scrolling. In addition, vertical displays take up a lot less desktop space for a more clean work space.
Monitor Stands for Vertical Monitors
NTI has many monitor mounts to choose from whether you are using horizontal or vertical screens. Depending on the displays you are using, you may have a base that allows you to rotate on the stock base that comes with it. However, with larger screens this is usually not an option as they are too large for that. Monitor stand bases come in bolt down, clamp to desk or freestanding styles and we have them all. If you have questions see our monitor stands page or give us a call today.
